The Center for Gender Studies (CGS) is under the College of Arts and Social Studies (CASS) at the University of Rwanda (UR).The Center is currently located at the Remera Campus former KIE,where it originally started as the Center for Gender,Culture and Development (CGCD) in 2009.
The Center engages in teaching,research and community outreach activities.The CGS has developped partnerships and collaborations with international and regional academic and non-academic institutions and carried out joint research,conferences,curriculum development,staff and students exchanges.
